Reeasy Privacy Policy

Reeasy App LLC operates Reeasy. This policy explains how we handle information across our mobile app, website, realtor dashboard, and transaction platform, including marketplace, messaging, scheduling, advertising, and document-sharing features.

Information we collect

Information you provide includes your name, email address, phone number, profile details and photo, listing descriptions and addresses, uploaded images and files, messages, offers, appointments, support requests, and reports about other users or content. The information collected depends on the features you use.

Transaction records can include contracts, financial or property information contained in documents, participant names and email addresses, transaction-specific roles, invitations, sharing approvals, and activity history. Another participant may provide your contact details when inviting you or include information about you in a document.

We also process account identifiers, authentication records, IP addresses, request and security logs, device and push-notification tokens, and technical information needed to operate the service. Location information may come from a location you enter, an IP-based postal-code estimate, or your device as described below.

How we use information

We use information to provide nearby discovery, listings, conversations, offers, appointments, navigation, relevant advertising, support, account security, fraud prevention, and transaction-room coordination.

We also use information to enforce our rules, investigate reports and disputes, comply with law, and protect Reeasy, our users, and the public.

Sharing and visibility

Published marketplace listings, listing photos, and the seller or contact information displayed with them can be seen by people browsing the marketplace. Do not put private contracts, financial details, or other confidential information in a public listing.

Private chats and transaction documents use participant and document-specific access controls. Being invited to a transaction does not by itself give someone access to every chat or document. Buyers and sellers manage participants on their respective sides, and sharing or adding chat members is subject to the applicable approvals shown in the transaction platform. An approved new chat member may see the conversation history.

Authorized personnel may access information for support, security reviews, investigation of abuse or disputes, and administration. We may disclose relevant records when required by legal process or to address fraud, safety, or compliance obligations.

People who receive or download information may keep copies outside Reeasy. Removing access or deleting content in Reeasy cannot recall those copies. Upload and share only information you are authorized to disclose.

Service providers and connected services

We use Amazon Web Services for hosting, databases, file storage, and infrastructure. These services process the account data, content, and technical records needed to operate Reeasy.

Google Maps services process map, address, and navigation requests, including relevant coordinates. During account verification, if a postal code is missing, our backend may send your IP address to ipapi.co to estimate it. This estimate does not use your phone's GPS permission and can occur without enabling device location.

Notification delivery uses Expo and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and, on Apple devices, Apple's notification infrastructure as applicable. Delivery providers process device tokens, notification content, and routing information. Email delivery providers process recipient addresses and email content for verification, invitations, account recovery, and service messages. Notification previews may be visible on your device's lock screen depending on your settings.

Where a payment or subscription feature is available, its checkout provider, such as Stripe or PayPal, processes payment information. Reeasy processes related customer or subscription identifiers and payment status to manage that service. Availability differs between the website and mobile app; this policy does not mean a particular checkout option is enabled.

When you follow a link to another service or use a connected provider, that provider's privacy terms also apply to its own processing. Contact us if you need details about the providers involved in a specific feature or request.

Location and device permissions

Reeasy requests location while the app is in use for nearby listings, listing addresses, and drive-to navigation. Reeasy does not request background location permission. You can change permissions in your device settings.

Photo and file selection lets you choose content to upload. Selected content is sent to Reeasy when you upload it; selecting a file is not a grant of access to all files on your device. You can control photo access and notifications in your device settings. Turning off a permission may limit the related feature but does not delete information already submitted.

Advertising, cookies, and local storage

Reeasy displays advertising and promoted content. Selection can depend on the listing, placement, location, and campaign settings, and we record advertising impressions and clicks to operate and measure campaigns. Following an advertiser's link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.

Our apps and dashboards use cookies or device/browser storage for sign-in sessions, security, language preferences, saved settings, and temporary drafts. Clearing this storage may sign you out or remove local preferences, but it does not delete your account or server-side records. You can manage browser storage and device permissions in their respective settings.

Automated document and assistant features

Where enabled, automated transaction features can process document text, filenames, transaction facts, questions, and conversation context to produce summaries or answers. When an external analysis provider is configured, that information is transmitted to the provider for processing and may contain personal information included in the original content. Generated results and assistant history can be stored with the service.

Feature availability varies. This policy is not a consent prompt or permission to send someone else's confidential information to an external service. Contact support about availability and data handling before using an analysis feature with sensitive documents. Automated outputs may be inaccurate and are not a substitute for reviewing the original documents or obtaining professional advice.

Security and processing locations

We use HTTPS for connections to our service, authenticated access to private resources, role and participant permissions, and file-validation and security checks. These safeguards reduce risk, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your account credentials and invitation links, and report suspected unauthorized access to support.

Our primary service infrastructure is hosted in the United States. Hosting, delivery, and other service providers may process information in other locations as part of providing their services. Privacy laws can differ from those in your location. Contact us with questions about processing locations or applicable safeguards.

Account deletion and retention

The in-app and web “Delete Account” actions submit a verified deletion request. When completed, account access is permanently disabled, direct profile and authentication information is erased, and active sessions, refresh tokens, and registered push devices are revoked.

The database account row is soft deleted rather than physically removed. Transaction, contract, legal, dispute, trust-and-safety, fraud-prevention, deletion-request, audit, and compliance records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary. Non-required direct account information is erased when deletion is completed.

Account deletion is different from moving a document, chat, or transaction to a recoverable Deleted folder. A recoverable item remains stored. Closing your account does not necessarily remove shared records needed by other transaction participants, copies held by recipients, or records subject to a legal hold.

Retention depends on the type of record, the ongoing transaction or dispute, applicable legal obligations, and security or fraud-prevention needs. There is not one retention period for every category. Ask support about specific listings, photos, messages, documents, or other associated data so their removal or continued retention can be addressed in your request.

Submitting a request is not confirmation that deletion has finished. Verification and review may be required. Contact support for the status, expected processing time, any retention exceptions, and treatment of backup copies. Do not assume that deletion from an active account immediately removes every backup or another participant's copy.

Your choices and contact

You can update profile information, control device permissions, report or block users, and submit an account deletion request in the app or from our account deletion page.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, or request erasure of your information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can contact us to exercise applicable rights or raise a concern. We may need to verify your identity and protect other people's information before fulfilling a request. You may also have a right to contact your local data-protection authority.

For privacy questions or requests, contact support@reeasyapp.com.

Include the account email and enough detail to identify your request. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment-card details, or confidential documents unless a suitable secure support process has been agreed.

Children and other people's information

If you believe a child's information has been submitted without appropriate authorization, contact support so we can investigate and address it. Do not include another person's sensitive information in a listing, message, or document unless you have the authority to share it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our features or data practices change. The date below identifies the latest revision. Where a change requires additional notice or consent, posting an updated policy alone does not replace those requirements.
